The Andis Easy Clip Versa Blade is made from strong stainless steel material that’s designed to withstand wear. It can handle several grooming sessions and doesn’t need to be replaced too often, which makes it a good choice of pet owners who groom their animals regularly. The blade is designed to handle grooming for medium to smaller dog breeds. These blades work well on coarse hair and give a fine result.
This blade is available in two variations – size 10 and 7FC blades. The size 10 blades can be used to primary trimming and rough grooming while the FC is blade is ideal for adding finishing touches. The exact size of the set is:
- 7 FC 1/8” – 6.3mm
- 10 1/16” – 1.5mm
These blades are designed for the Andis Easy Clip Clipper Versa Clipper (RACD) and not professional A5 clippers. The latter will need different UltraEdge or CeramicEdge clippers. You will need to oil these attachments on every use to ensure the blade doesn’t become damaged during the grooming process. Clean up oil with a dry cloth to ensure there is no excess liquid lingering on the surface because that will cause streaks in your pet’s fur.
Clean the blades after each grooming session to ensure there is no hair or debris trapped between the upper and lower halves. Replace broken blades immediately to make sure you or the pet aren’t injured. These clippers work at high-speeds so a broken blade can cause substantial damage.
