Hikari Gold Medium Pellet

Hikari Gold Medium Pellet is a daily colour diet for koi and pond fish in warm water. This Hikari Gold koi food enhances colour, growth and immune system health in one everyday pellet.

Gold is the colour option in our Hikari fish food range. Feed it while the pond is above 15°C. As the water cools, switch to Hikari Excel or Hikari Wheat Germ Formula. For a plain daily foundation diet, choose Hikari Staple. Gold also comes as Hikari Gold Small Pellet and Hikari Gold Large Pellet.

Feeding guide

Adjust the amount to water temperature, fish numbers and activity. Remove uneaten food after each feed.

• 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F): feed 2 to 4 times a day, the amount eaten within 5 minutes
• 15 to 20°C (59 to 68°F): feed no more than twice a day, in the warmer part of the day
• 11 to 15°C (52 to 59°F): switch to Hikari Excel or Hikari Wheat-Germ Formula
• Below 11°C (52°F): switch to Hikari Wheat-Germ Formula
