14 AUTO-SHIP
Auto-ship orders are charged at the price shown on our website on the day each order is processed, less any auto-ship discount that applies at that time.
If the price of an item in your auto-ship goes up, or your auto-ship discount is reduced, we will email you at least 14 days before the next order that includes the new price. You can skip, change or cancel your auto-ship before that order is processed, with no fee. If you do nothing, the new price applies from that order onwards. Price decreases apply automatically without notice.
We may cancel or pause an auto-ship if a product is discontinued, unavailable for an extended period, or no longer supplied in the same size or format. We will tell you by email, and you will not be charged for any order we cancel.
If your payment fails, we may retry the charge and will contact you. If we can't take payment, we may cancel that order or your auto-ship.
15 PRICE MATCH POLICY
We expressly reserve the right to refrain from price matching where this would result in a sale below cost price (including postage). All price matches are at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products available for price-matching at our discretion.

17 SHIPPING POLICY INFORMATION
Our Free Shipping policy for orders over $79 applies to over 5000 postcodes within Australia and also depends on the type and weight of item to be shipped. The good news is that it covers all metro areas and most regional centres. When the postcode you want your item shipped to lies out of range or the product is too bulky or heavy for a courier the cost of the consignment will depend on the postcode that the item is going to and the weight of the item.
We always endeavour to keep the costs of shipping down, so we can pass these savings onto our customers.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days. Some orders may take longer, for example where stock needs to be ordered from our suppliers or stock levels have changed since you ordered. If your order is delayed, we will contact you. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
If the shipping cost charged at checkout is less than the actual cost of delivering a bulky, heavy or remote order, we will contact you before dispatch. You can pay the difference, change the order, or cancel for a full refund.
18 ORDER ACCEPTANCE
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy the goods. We accept your offer when we dispatch the goods, or when your order is ready for collection if you chose local pickup. An order confirmation email is not an acceptance.

19 AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, contact us at customer@petsuppliesempire.com.au with your order number and photos where possible. The Australian Consumer Law does not set a fixed deadline, but you should tell us as soon as you notice the problem. Your right to reject goods and ask for a refund or replacement lasts for a reasonable time, which depends on the type of product and how it is used. Consumable items such as food, treats and litter have a shorter reasonable period than durable goods. Delays in reporting can affect which remedy is available.
We may ask for proof of purchase or for the product to be returned so we can assess it. Where the Australian Consumer Law requires it, we will cover reasonable return shipping.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Any clause that limits our liability applies only to the extent the law allows.
Change of mind returns are not a consumer guarantee. They are covered by our Returns Policy.
20 DELIVERY AND AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
Most orders are shipped with Authority to Leave enabled by default. This means the goods may be left at your address without a signature, in a place the driver considers safe. This also applies to our own local delivery. If you do not want ATL, tell us before you order or add a delivery instruction at checkout.
Once the carrier or our driver records the goods as delivered to the address you gave, the goods are your responsibility. We are not liable for goods lost, stolen or damaged after that point, except as required by law. If a parcel marked as delivered cannot be found, contact us within 24 hours and we will help lodge a claim with the carrier.
For local pickup, the goods are your responsibility once they have been collected.
21 STOCK AVAILABILITY AND PRODUCT IMAGES
Stock levels on the website update regularly but are not guaranteed. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer a substitute, a backorder or a refund for that item.
Product images are a guide only. Manufacturers change packaging, labels and bag designs from time to time, and colours may look different depending on your screen. If the product you receive is materially different from its description, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
22 PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
New subscribers receive a single-use welcome code for $15 off their first order when the subtotal is $100 or more, before shipping. The code is limited to one per customer, email address and delivery address. It can't be combined with other codes or used on auto-ship orders or gift cards, and it has no cash value. Codes expire 3 days after they are issued.
We may exclude some products or brands from a promotion. Any exclusions will be shown with the offer or at checkout.
We may remove a discount or cancel an order where a code has been misused. This includes using more than one account or email address to claim another welcome offer, or ordering goods for commercial resale.
We may change or end a promotion at any time. Codes already issued will be honoured on the terms they were issued under.
